ON the 13th of April 2024, the club had his first game of the year against the team from Shottery RFC. Played in Skessan in Hafnafjorður, that game allowed the team to gain experience on the pitch and to get their mindsets ready for games. The club won 22-17 after a tight and intense game.
The Shottery boys were all legends and a testament to the proverb that rugby is a hooligans sport played by gentlemen. Everyone had a great time and the post match celebration was top-notch.
If we can get a few more teams like this visiting Iceland then rugby in Iceland will be golden.
